Design of a web site is an important process. Just like building a house, if you go ahead without planning it first then the end result is almost certainly going to be a disaster.

That's why we, unlike most web site development companies, consider the design process a crucial phase of our work. Some companies see it as time spent that they could be spending on development, but how can that be productive if they don't have a clear idea of what they are supposed to be developing?

You may already be very sure of just how you want your site to look and work, or maybe you haven't got a clue where to start? Either way, we will discuss thoughts and ideas openly with you. How it works, what it looks like, what it provides you and what will it provide your customers are some of the questions that will have to be answered.

Website Development

Once the design is complete then development can get underway. As part of the design process we may have already shown you some samples, so even at this stage you may have a fair idea of what the finished article will look like.

Whether your site is a new build or an enhancement to what you have the process we take is very similar. You will get to see it at certain phases of development, just to put your mind at rest, and give you the chance to make last minute changes.

The following table shows the costs associated with setting up and maintaining a basic site. It is based on the number of pages the site has and includes a cost for the initial development and a ongoing monthly charge. The monthly cost is for keeping the pages on-line (hosting) and providing basic support, should you have any problems with the web site.

Additional Features

Further to the basic web site design we can also provide countless enhanced features to your web site. These include graphical and animated work, interactive pages such as surveys and live chats, and news and event sections.
